Dogecoin, Elon and SNL - There WILL Be a Price Correction
I've seen a bit of idiotic alarmism/scandalmongering on this, which, of course I do, it involves Elon Musk and Elon Musk smokes marijuana and you just can't possibly smoke marijuana and be a productive, ambitious and brilliant contributor to society (You just can't, it would mean I've been discrim--, that marijuana bias is raci--no, its just not possible...!!!). Nevertheless, the situation will benefit from someone keywording up an article with a measure of sanity and without stupid anecdotal beliefs about clickbait hopelessly corrupting the headline.
So let me say it, above the fold and clearly: the price of Dogecoin will spike when Elon mentions it on Saturday Night Live this weekend, then people will take profits. I may take profits. But then the price will find support. It may be at .55 cents, where it hovered all day yesterday. Maybe .60 where its reasonably stable today. It may even fall all the way as far back as .27 cents, where it found its bottom after 4/20 (please oh please oh please oh please!).
It. will. find. support. It has institutional and hedge investors, has for a long time. It. will. find. support. If and when it spikes after Elon's SNL mention, SELL. IT. Then go to bed.
If, when you wake up and check the price you feel nervous that you have already missed the bottom, buy back in. You will have enough cash to increase your position by as much as 25%, which, in English, means you'll have enough to buy more coins than you're currently holding.
This is what we're doing, people! Buying and trading and holding these silly collectibles that aren't even decorative and won't mature into a stable, currency-value suitable for daily use for (hopefully) years. You know, if you are reading this, you are certain that the interest in this item, for one brief moment in time, is going to suddenly, momentarily intensify, and that the price will reflect some of that interest. You also feel confident that the item will, ultimately, collect enough interest to rival that one moment that Elon will provide for it, eventually, and if the other signs continue to trend in the way that Elon is doing, that interest will arrive soon and you'll easily surpass the sell point you might choose to take profits from on Saturday at around 7pm PST.
The point to remember: yes, the price is going to fall after Elon's monologue. The traders looking to make money coming and going will be taking a trip back and forth through the lobby doors. You could be one of them. You know what is going to happen.
But you also do not have to be. You know what is going to happen. The price will spike, it will fall below what it is when SNL begins, and then it will begin climbing again, possibly at the same 10% per day pace it has been on for a week, though more likely at 4 or 5%. But most investments don't return even a single full point everyday, so if you do not join the profit-taking kids, playing in the revolving door, be confident, the price will come back for the same reason it will go up in the first place. Elon is right.
